The advert for Charlie Brooker's 2016wipe had him pronounce it "Pock-é-mon". The first time I've ever heard anyone pronounce it that way and I realised that's technically correct.

I couldn't believe I was saying then wrong all these years. GRAU-don like ground, KAI-oh-ger. Both of them roll off the tongue horribly, though.
