Well, I don't have friends but I don't think that changes bro-choice.

My main mon squad is Klefki, Noivern, Reuniclus, Whimsicott, Leafeon and Froslass.

I have a shiny Furret that I do the main storyline with as soon as I can, (reset xp with PowerSaves) though, but box her for challenges I know she can't overcome while I level up my lil fetus buddy in the background.

I don't think the team is that heavy with tropes. Maybe Noivern/Froslass but I love them for different reasons.
