Do you have any specific "favorite spots" in the various Pokemon games?

I've always really liked Old Chateau. Definitely the best haunted area imo. It's one of the only places in the older games that I can believe "Yeah, somebody lives/lived here at some point." I dunno why, but the dining room in particular feels so good and satisfying to me. And being a completely optional area helps.
Rotom's cool too, and the ghost npc here is probably my favorite of them.
Also DPPt's soundfont is really good at that creepy feel.

Route 120's bridge area at night is so beautiful in ORAS.
Other areas I'm really fond of are the lookout point from Sea Mauville, Brooklet Hill, and Melemele, Poni and Ulaula's meadows

Marine Tube

I'd include Laverre City and Route 14 as well.
I would always hang around the XY power plant. That music, man. I guess the marine tube, too. Never really hung around anywhere else (outside of the Battle Resort for breeding or the secret bases in Sapphire/Emerald/Alpha.
The mushroom you could sit on in x and y
I like Eterna City.

I remember going through this route over and over, just because I loved the music and how it fit perfectly with the rainy mood, then the trumpets coming in above everything as you exit the tall grass area and it becomes a clear day with those puddles you could see the clouds in.
>>31322640
The rain. Cutting grass because I didn't know any better. The excitement when I first found Tropius all those years ago. Making my base in hard to reach places so my friends couldn't find them. This route was my home away from home.
Take me back.
Trevor's condo in Lumiose city is the only one I could remember, but I know I've had other comfy spots like that before.
Ecruteak but specifically Bellchime Trail / Bell Tower
abandoned ship/shoal cave/route 113 for g3
Dppt Pokemon League.
It's mostly the music that does it for me.

-Pokemon Gold National Park. Getting shown how to get behind the fences blew my mind. HGSS national park wasn't as comfy to me for some reason.
-The bridge in Anville Town
>>31325672
Also, one important one I forgot, reminded by >>31325600
-Gen 3 Ever Grande City, the combination of the music + cliffs + ocean + flowers + marking the last part of the game made it a beautiful area.
>>31322746
It was for that night time veiw alone that I made my base on that route in my AS.
>>31325672
This was very comfy. I got my Umbreon here.
>>31322166

>>31327159
Kalos has some pretty nice areas and setpieces I feel, it's just held back for most by chibi and many aspects of the game being vapid as fuck
>>31327959
The sea cliff area was fantastic.
