The whole movie and the Mewtwo special was what Johto should have been like. Lore expansion and resolutions.

Instead some dumbass at OLM decided to scrap the GS Ball in favor of the fourth movie and subject the viewers to filler hell instead of a potential cool ongoing arc with Celebi.

OS Ash was at the peak of likability in this movie too. Actually battling the titicular legendary and doing pretty good, even if said legendary was an invincible fake. Also saying some true-ass shit all around.
