How did I know the Ghost dance for Decidueye's Z-move before taking on Acerola's trial? Then when she teaches the dance, I could just say, "Oh yeah, I know what that is."

It's been known since before SM came out that the dances aren't required to use the Z moves at all, people in Alola are just fucking autistic. The boy and girl dances are different in a few cases, meaning the actual motions are pointless

I like to think that the MC just bullshits a dance that they think will activate the Z-move and it just works because all that's actually needed is the Z-crystal.

I hope that Z-moves stay around for future games, since every Pokémon can use the main ones, as opposed to mega evolutions that only allow a select few special snowflake mons access to improvements.

The dances aren't really needed it's just Alolian culture to do the dance before executing the move if Z-moves return in gen 8 we'll definitely be able to do them without the dance, I just hope their animations are retooled because this shit takes too fucking long already.

It's required to do some sort of dance. What dance you do is what doesn't matter. Aslong as you've got some sort of motion going that allows the energy to flow. Have you never felt your cosmo burn?
