A Terrain forme would be cool, also. Though instead of floating it would be grounded, of course; maybe the scientists in Hoenn who made Castform travelled to Alola to try and make a Sturdier Castform but that required it to become denser, meaning it couldn't float.
Luckily it kept its ability, but now using its water molecules to;

>conduct electricity (Electric Terrain)
>produce fine mist (Misty Terrain)
>reflect and amplify the bizarre patterns around it like a lens (Psychic terrain)

By this point you may as well make it a new pokemon entirely, like a plant that adapts.
