Am I the only one who didn't care about Pokemon as a kid?

pretty shocking that somebody who doesnt care about the monsters or gameplay and is only in it for the waifus didn't like it as a kid

I enjoyed it a lot as a kid, but the repetitive gameplay almost made me drop it after BW2.
Then I started collecting waifus, and recently bought a 3DS for them. SM is a goldmine

I dropped pokemon for a while when I was a teen, and got back to it after I got over the edgy phase when you think pokemon is for babies and yeah, a catchable waifu simulator to fuel my degeneracy was one of the main things that drew me back in.

But now I thoroughly enjoy the entire aspect of raising pokemon more. I love getting new pokemon and training them to their fullest potential, and now with pelago I dont have to feel bad about boxing them.
