I don't know how powerful Pheromosa is against players competitively, but it's absolutely terrible in the battle tree. Admittedly it's full off bulky Pokemon compared to more offensive online teams but it consistently lacks KO power even with life orb.

I prefer Kartana and Celesteela

Well there's your problem. For my main Pheromosa I invested in her Attack and Speed and with Beast Boost increasing Attack it made her so powerful that I could just use Lunge and still OHKO without risking HJK.

Yes. I went with Lonely (because her defense is already shit), EV trained her in Attack, Speed and then invested the rest in Special Attack for Ice Beam.

Slapped a Focus Sash on her, paired her up with Top Kek and if there was anything the duo couldn't beat I'd Volt Switch and U-turn out of there.
