Anyone else triggered by the fact that the starters' secondary

Also, the X/Y starters were Grass/Fighting, Fire/Psychic, and Water/Dark.

Gen 6 had fire/psychic -> grass/fighting -> Water/dark. Fire starter still has the advantage against the grass starter and so on. OP meant something like where the grass starter's secondary typing counters the fire starter's secondary typing.

I was going to, but I the move from Grass/Flying to Grass/Ghost is so out of left field that I can only imagine it dies when it evolves.

I'm more triggered that they didn't run reverse rock-paper-scissors secondary typings.

Closest we got was Infernape's fighting countering Empoleon's steel.

Also would have worked for the Kalos starters if Greninja and Chesnaught's secondaries were switched
