A better apology would have been making all starters equal in competitive viability but still good.
It doesn't need to persist when it leaves. Just landing the move gives you momentum
Obviously you shouldn't count on the trapping of shackle when Decidueye will get KOed next turn, at that point you might as well suicide it to get something else safely
