Type-specific attribute discussion thread. Talk about what innate abilities each type should have, like Grass being immune to Leech Seed and Ghost being immune to traps. Try to keep it to types that don't currently have one.
Because each type should have some sort of shenanigan to fuck with people.
Normal:
>NOTHING
Water:
>Getting hit with a Water attack removes their current negative status.
Ice:
>Because being immune to frozen is not enough, innate Water and Ice Absorb.
Fighting:
>Their warrior spirit prevents their Attack and Special attack from being lowered by the opponent.
Ground:
>Can't be removed from the field by an opponent's effect.
Flying:
>The accuracy of their attacks is increased by a flat 5%.
Psychic:
>Innate Anticipation, however it also lets you know if a partner is at risk.
Bug:
>Moves that play off emotions like Fake Tears and Baby Doll Eyes have no effect.
Rock:
>Innate Sturdy. All Rock types that have it as an ability get a new one.
Dragon:
>No idea.
Dark:
>Abilities like Anticipation and Psychic's innate ability will fail, and Moves that never miss have their accuracy dropped to base 90%. (I like the concept on this one but I don't like it honestly. Someone make something better.)
Steel:
>Immune to wind-based attacks.
Fairy:
>Not a fucking clue.
