Because...you know, i honestly don't get the point of the stupid pentagon and clover symbol. All it does is make our Pokemon of last gen useless and force us into re-creating them so they have the stupid symbol in order to participate.

The symbols I guess were to discourage hacking, but all it does is encourage injecting even more.

They always do this every time there's a new generation to showcase the new Pokemon on VGC.

Injecting with soundhax is roughly as easy as making a team on showdown. If you prefer battling on cart for any reason, just battle on cart.

I don't really care about VGC. In XY we could use our BW mons on the rest of the battle spot. The pentagon rule was only enforced on special competitions.

But since ORAS this cancerous rule spread to all modes. I figure SM will be the same.
