What's the point of this move? It's literally just a weaker Earthquake with a chance to miss.
Everything that get it also gets Earthquake, what was the point of even making it?

What's the point of X-scissor when we have Leech Life?
>>31182068
Doubles
Earthquake in doubles hit everyone, even your partner, for reduced damage.
Earthquake also deals 50% of damage in grassy terrain.
It doesn't hit your allies in doubles.

what kind of shit comparison is this
Just for in game usage I guess. So that ground types have a nice ground attack without giving the player access to earthquake too early in the game.

Multi target moves get weaker when they more than one pokémon and get blocked by Wide Guard. Also, it doesn't hit your partner, that's why.
what's the point of scald when we have Steam Eruption?
>>31182068
Ah, i didnt realize you wanted bulldoze on your Mudsdale till it hit level 50. My mistake anon
>>31182133
>Same base power
>Same type
>Leech Life is better because it restores HP
>X-scissor doesn't
Why use it anymore when you have a better alternative?
>>31182184
I was sure they were going to buff x scissor to 90. It was always disappointingly weak. You have a chitinous giant bug monster slashing you with two claws, which is less powerful than a fucking fairy flower playing roughly with you
>>31182184
Because the mons that use xscissor didn't get leech life
The point is that is a signature move for a horse, and that it doesn't damage allies in doubles. Is it really that hard to understand?
mudbray learns high horse at level 24 while mudsdale learns earthquake at level 47
it's an ingame move
>>31182099
Except no-one gives a shit about doubles?
High Horsepower's power isn't affected by Grassy Terrain
checkmate
Should've been a Ground-type Heavy Slam.

A Pokemon that doesn't learn EQ or Drill Run could get High Horsepower
>>31182600
Doubles is the official metagame
