Hariyama has a poor base 50 Speed meaning that it will usually have to take a hit before it can attack. On top of that, it has competition from other Fighting-types. It also has no way to regain health without Drain Punch, so it needs Wish support to repeatedly switch into the Pokemon it wants to, making it very prone to being worn down. Lastly, its main STAB attack, Close Combat, lowers its important defensive stats, especially since you're not running Thick Fat.

Cause it's outclassed by Conk in every single way.
