Not everyone hated Popplio at first. I loved Popplio the first time I saw it. It reminded me of a puppy and seal. I'm also extremely biased towards Water starters since around the Gen 3 and Gen 4 days.

People can like Primarina all they want, it just freaks me out a bit how some do legitimately have this obsession over it and how pretty and perfect it is and some fans actually finding themselves more superior. I just overall tend to dislike people who act "superior" over their pick, so if their starter were anything other than Primarina, I'd still be pretty annoyed over their attitude regardless.

I kinda hate the people who happen to hate Popplio so much and yet, go through the trouble of raising one just to evolve it into what they want.

I don't really see sealfags acting superior to anyone. At the very least they do it the least out of the starter fanbases, though that may just be because the others have larger ones. If anything I've noticed two main things about sealfags in that regard.
