Peeps got their saves corrupted because they didn't read / listen carefully enough. Use the newest JKSM, backup the save, then export / edit / import to your heart's content.

JKSM has an option to "export" your save to the SD card from the cart. From there you place the SD in your computer, edit it with PKhex (remember to "export to main" in pkhex - saves what you did) and then just import the save in JKSM to the cart. If you fucked up and somehow corrupted your save - no issue here, just use the backup save you did earlier and import it back.

Only for legendaries, event mons and things with shit IVs you have a sentimental attachment to for some reason. Now you just need to reset legends for hidden power (synchronize takes care of nature)

I'll be fucked if I have to breed and train for 100s of hours just to try out one of my 50 ideas.
