Wow, I watched the first two episodes and I'm actually enjoying it. Yes, it has the crops and zooms, the "fake good animation" from X/Y, but it also has actual good animation. The art is so bad in screenshots, but the way characters actually move around makes it feel like a damn movie. And oddly enough the cartoonish stupidity of Ash's whole story actually matches the silly looking artwork. The first episode shows you a shit ton of Alola goodness....makes me wanna keep playing Sun.

I'm watching the dub (because TV is nice, also now that it's on Disney XD....it's on at times other than 7AM Saturdays) and it's nice that not Professor Oak sounds like the professor from Futurama. And it sucks that they pussied out with making Team Skull not sound like fake niggas. Nobody making those gestures should sound like a mafioso. Perhaps Guzma will redeem them.
