Gen 6 Talonflame was the best one, it helped that it wasn't part Normal (only Fletchling being Normal/Flying).

Due to Talonflame nerf, Staraptor regained the status as the best one (it is BL but it still counts as OU)

Why is Swellow so underappreciated? With Guts, it effectively has 125 base Attack and Speed. Add in a 140 BP Normal-type STAB and Brave Bird, it is pretty solid.

Almost everything after Pigeot is either underpowered or overpowered. Toucannon is so-far the only exception because its utter lack of speed and great offense/moves actually even out. I still think Pigeot is the best balance of how early you get it and how actually useful it is.

Also none of these are worth using in their respective games IMO, but I also don't like Flying types in general so take that as you will
