ITT: Good designs, poor viability
Maybe, if it got some tutor moves it would be decent. I can see it get Knock Off, Drain Punch, and Gunk Shot in the future.
Just needs some decent tutors and its HA then it'll be good.

What the fuck?

You can only pay one at a time.
I love this design so much but wow it sucks

This. Passimian hit the jackpot with its stats, it just has basically no ability, and a few holes in its movepool. I've had a lot of success with either a Band or a Z-Crystal lure.

Gee, I wonder who could be behind that post
literally a worse primeape

Vikavolt
Trying to think of ways it could best receive a cool ability.
If it protected against an explosion, what abilities could it receive?

Galvanise

it's good in trick room :^)for real though this thing hits like a truck now that it learns Head Smash

Galvanise, Unburden, Sturdy, Levitate, Iron Barbs, Water Absorb, Snow Warning, Sand Stream, and Aftermath are all available.

I prefer Refrigerate. Ice has better coverage than Electric unless your worried about Fighting-resistant Water types.

I suppose some of them could work.
Passimian kind of got the short end of the stick; exploiting its double battle gimmick is tricky while Oranguru's is really easy to abuse.
I always thought these guys were kinda cute

It still baffles me that Receiver doesn't work like a pseudo Baton Pass when a party pokemon faints. I guess it might've been too OP from frail pokes with useful abilities like Technician Smergle or Pure Power Medicham and the like.

The problem is that Muk gets the Power of Alchemy which is the same ability but easierto use due to Muk's bulk.
Passimian can utilise many of the Received abilities better but just isn't hardy enough to get them reliably.
