I completed it already. I got lucky a few times on Wonder Trade, such as getting 3 hacked shinies that I used to get some rare mons on GTS.

301/301 as of about two weeks ago, all I need is Marshadow for the entire Alola Dex inc. Mythicals.

Getting the item for Weavile was probably the biggest pain in the ass.

Hatched 1,000 Masuda method Mareanies after I got the Charm since I wanted to gift my friend a shiny Mareanie. None of the 1,000 were shiny.

Livedex is done since three weeks, I'm getting island scans mon now, but that takes a while since I'm not using GTS for this.

I gotta admit the lack of a National Dex does make going for a Shiny Charm much more fun and less tedious. Hopefully they will keep the regional dex requirement in the next game but also bring the national dex back.

For porygon 2 and Z I was able to get them both by offering Scizor.....and if you don't have scizor, you can get one over the GTS by trading away a castform or relicanth.

and as for the guy looking for weavile, I was able to trade him for a relicanth

The porygons are tricky, but for every other pokemon that evolves by some odd or convoluted method (really high level/stone/trade evolve/happiness) relicanth has been my GTS currency of choice.....and i'm not sure why. Sure he's kinda hard to find, but once you find one, you can just breed it over and over. with relicanth I was able to get
