I'm making a list of novelty Pokemon to get for when I go through Gen 3 in the near future. So far I have Helping Hand/Tri Attack Togepi, Seismic Toss Chansey, Counter Mawile, and Helping Hand Rhydon. Anything else I should look out for?

Lot of stuff in XD:GoD. Can't remember a lot of specifics, but I know there's a lot>>31114085

Honestly, every single Pokemon from Colloseum and XD with special moves is probably worthsnagging. You never know when something like Heal Bell Dragonite will be worthwhile.

Other Anon here. I am doing this too. Though not with all of them. Sing Marowak is just shit.
Heal Bell Ampharos can be awesome. And not to mention Helping Hand Dusclops. Or Lugia doing shattered Psyche of Psycho Boost

I hear you, but I'm telling you now. Just grab and keep everything special. You never know when GF will randomly decide to buff Sing to 75% accuracy or something. Need I remind you that the current meta is one in which Splash, Leech Life, and Conversion are all seeing legitimate use.

I get it, but I just can't be fucked to SR for every single Shadow Pokemon in that game. So I am gonna focus on those I really want. Besides, from what I hear you can't even properly soft-reset for the legendary birds since the game forces you to save at some point.

For the less desirable ones you could probably settle with "good enough". Sassy Marrowak may not win any awards, but when that day comes you'll be stoked to at least have it around. Even Neutral natures might not be the end of the world.
