It's not like you could get Legendary Trios of other regions in later games most of the time except in ORAS. Tapus are a Legendary Quartet for Alola and they won't be at all relevant in later games.

Hell in Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum, you need the Regis to get Regigigas, but they didn't put the Regis anywhere in Sinnoh, you just had to transfer them.

You actually could get the Regis natively in Sinnoh, but, (classic Gamefreak style,) they could only be encountered via a limited distribution event.

You needed an event Regigias in your Platinum game, and then you could go to 3 corresponding locations in Sinnoh where a cave appears containing a Regi.

The irony of course is that you need the 3 Regis to get the game's native Regigias, but you need the event Regigias to acquire the 3 native Regis.

Fuckin Gamefreak man.

The same way Mew gets into Sun & Moon, through Trade or event.

post game will al;ways have a hawaiian party thing and it has you battle the tapus and get them, but because on your travel to the location was disrupted by the UBs its some episodic delta z tv shit and somehow you set up a battle with red or insert rival here, and that rival battle is post party in the cave and after you battle the rival, fireworks go off, and you two spot something and necrozma fight

On a similar note, I was thinking of how they'd ever get Alola Forms back in future games, and I really like the idea of a sort of Alolan Embassy, where the backyard is a sort of pseudo mini safari zone full of Alola Forms.
