I waited until like basically this year to Homebrew my Wii and even then it's the Wii Mode on my Wii U, only because I found out that it was as easy as inserting an SD Card with the right files and then launching Smash's Stage Builder.

If I hack a perfect ditto to save time breeding, it's not an issue because the pokemon it makes are just as good as ones you could get legitimately. If you aren't retarded about it it's ultimately no different from getting it through a trade or /vp/ giveaway. I personally always inject at pretty low levels and raise them up myself, I even give them mediocre IVs sometimes if I just intend on using them for story playthroughs. Making lemons out of shitty lemonade and loving/investing time in "sub-optimal" mons is one of my favorite things about the series in general.

I'll still make some perfect ones here and there for wondertrading or fucking around in battle facilities though.
