Honestly, what they really should've done for Lycanroc Midnight to keep the theme:

Right now it's in an awkward phase where all its stats besides Attack are just kind of mediocre. 95/115/85/55/85/52 would actually give it some focus. Decently bulky, and actually slow (which would also make it good for Trick Room.)

Both get Keen Eye, which is useless but easily replacable. Midday also gets Sand Rush. Midnight gets... Vital Spirit? Fucking seriously? Intimidate fits thematically and helps with the bulk its supposed to have, and HA No Guard gives it an offensive role.

Good news: While it may not get Fairy typing, you can still pair Lilligant with Tapu Fini and run Nature Power. Misty Terrain turns it into Moonblast.

Bad news: Its coverage is still shit, and you have to run HP Ground over Sleep Powder in order to hit steel/fire threats.

Of course, it'll always suffer the curse of being mono-grass.

It was a joke. I just really want Chesnaught to have a good ability. Not saying bulletproof isnt a good ability since it fucks over sludge bomb users, but anything with a terrain/weather setting ability is bumped to OU at least for a short while. As the best Kalos starter Chesnaught deserves that.
