Overall great experience. This was the first game that had me deeply immersed in the game since RBY. Fixed all of DP problems and added some great content

Unpopular opinion I know but I still had a fun experience with this game. It had what was probably the best regional dex in the series and was the only game that I caught them all in lol

I loved RS. A lot. I wanted a remake since before HGSS came out. So when this came out I was beyond excited. And beyond disappointed. The game improved on nothing from RS added very little and was far less impressive to play through. If it wasn't for the fact that I used my team from Sapphire to play through the game I probably couldn't name my team. The how forgettable it was for me. Delta episode was cool and all but that's all the games brought and even that felt short and lackluster

I started this game over about 5 times before I actually finished it. Each time I would get to Castalia City then stop. The fifth time I tried playing I forced my way to finish before BW2 came out. I never was engaged with the story or the gameplay. Just felt dull. I might give it and BW2 another chance one day but for now, eh.

These are going through a similar thing that BW did, I just can't get into the games. The cut scenes don't help its cause either. 10 mins before I can even catch a pokemon is too much time. I still haven't finished the game even with me playing pretty much everyday. Just haven't clicked yet I guess

I don't consider HGSS or BW/BW2 bad, I just fell out of Pokemon at that time so got really jaded on those games. Probably going to give BW/BW2 another shot eventually once I get bored of Sun.
