I played Ruby beforehand, but did go back to check and see if maybe, just maybe I could catch it. I could.. Fortunately, I used an Aggron that I had already taught either Blizzard or Ice Beam, and managed to catch it without loosing anyone in a few tries. Sweeping the E4 and champ with fug was great.

Was anyone else a bit sad you couldn't soar with fug?

Curbstomping annoying dragon lady's team by using MEGA FUG for the first time is probably one of my favorite moments in all of Pokemon.

Some dude was giving away rayquazas on X/Y. His game was in finnish (I think at least) where "flying" is spelled "flug". Snowballed after that.

imo, there's only a handful of things that are good about gen III and none of the legendaries are among them

Gen 3 mechanics are pretty interesting to me and even if they are outdated they're not the worst. There was less of a focus on getting STAB moves since depending on your type and stat distribution you might not even benefit much from it which made movesets pretty interesting.
