They had to add some filler this gen for obvious reasons.
Just save before you start fishing at a bubbling spot then SR if it's not what you want.

It took me all of 10 minutes to get every 1% bubbling spot Pokemon in the game, and about as much time to get every SOS mon too. There were even some situations where it was better to SOS than to wait for a 1% grass mon because the SOS was 10% (Kangaskhan).

You people bitch way too hard about drop rates this high with rolls this frequent. You don't even know the suffering I've gone through in Monster Hunter for rare drops.

I just hate that it feels more tedious than ever. Now I have to SR? I never had to do that before, in old games I'd just fuck around until another bubbling spot appeared. I was told fishing was supposed to be made EZ this gen.

Three buttons and 30 seconds is nothing.
Even shiny hunting (especially with SOS/Allychaining) is the easiest it's ever been.
