He's plenty good. He's never been not good. Fantastic wallbreaker with godlike coverage and massive damage. He's basically a slower porygon-z with ground/ poison coverage that doesn't require a turn of setup.

I'm on my phone, but I got a picture of Nidoking as Doomsday from DC Comics done by a drawfag. Pretty nice.

Can someone explain why nidoking/queen are ground type? Poison I get, ground, I don't see it anywhere in their dex lore or anything.
