You can actually faint butterfree but its ability still works if it's lead. Just have a frisk mon as your second.

If you have a powerful enough Butterfree, just using thief will 1-shot komo-o anyway. No need for a Frisk user. I did bring a Crobat with Haze when I farmed claws though. When Jangmo-o's screech and work-up combo becomes annoying to deal with.

Alright, question time: Compoundeyes doesn't work on chained pokemon, if the user is not engaged in battle (dead). What if I use Skill Swap to put Compoundeyes on the Pokémon that's calling for allies? Since it's alive and its ability active, will it increase the item rate of its allies?
