Why doesn't salamence get the love that the other pseudo

I've always thought that its design looked pretty awkward, but that's just me.

I like Salamence. It's fairly simplistic, but I like it. The floating in the 3D model doesn't look very good though.

Manlet dragon with awkward wings and stumpy legs. Charizard tier trash design. The mega is even worse, it's almost pretty cool but the single wing design and weird tucked-in legs look ridiculous.

Mence is cool. Probably my third favorite pseudo after kommo-o and hydreigon (fucking fight me). The gen 6 and 7 model is shit, but I think a lot of people stopped liking/defending salamence because of its disgustingly broken mega. Everyone hates fighting that thing. People who bitch about smogon and say battle spot is better clam right up whenever mega mence is brought up. It's cancerous. The fact that it would outclass rayquaza if mega ray didn't exist speaks volumes. Still personally like the base form, though.

It has to share the spotlight with the pseudo that's loved for being the most unique looking pseudo, and one of the more unique looking Pokemon in general.

I still appreciate Salamence for being the only quadrupedal European dragon, plus I like the shell aspect. Though I honestly prefer all pseudo middle evolutions over their final stages except for Pupitar.

Dragonite's fanbase has waned considerably over the years, to the point where the 'orange Barney' designation has significantly overpowered the image of the original mon.

Goodra also suffers from a similar form of criticism, abetted by a general hatred of Slugfucker and its general popularity in porn.

Salamance is actually possibly the most popular of the pseudos, and it has arguably the strongest mega out of all of them. It is by no means lacking in love.

He's my favorite pseudo

The whole concept of its evolution line (Bagon wanting to fly enough that his tossing himself off cliffs actually evolves him wings) is badass, and it certainly pulls off the traditional Western dragon better than Dragonite, but yeah, it's a bit ugly.
