Is there any way to keep a wild pokemon from leaving the poke pelago or is it completly random? Two days ago, I saw a wild treavanent and it left and now I have a metang that I REALLY want to stay. Is there any way to ensure it stays or is it all RNG based?

You just have to put out a lot of beans and hope for the best.

Do the beans on the ground make any difference, or is it just the beans in the cart?

Someone told me to keep the beans topped off and keep checking in on the visitor and giving it attention multiple times a day, but I have no clue if that actually helps you or not.

put beans in crate, making sure it exceeds 24 hours & check your visitors every couple of hours to ensure capture
Got a Lapras & brave Metang
Don't leave pelago

Just the ones in the cart.

lol ok, I only checked on the treavanent once so that probably explains it.

I wondered about this so I did some testing.
Had some random Pokemon turn up, so I decided to not leave any beans at all. Day later, still no beans left, the pokemon decided to stay.
On the flip side I've invested loads of beans ionto other visitors but they still leave.
I say it's all just random, OP.
I don't know if this is true but I heard someone say you can soft reset for it to stay. Basically save before going to the pelago.
How can I get wild pokemon to fuck off? I'm sick of Magnemites.
