No. Not him but when I was catching Lunala I simply plopped a level 5 Abra with modest sync at the front and would either let it die or switch it out after. Catching a proper abra takes way less time than SRing a pokemon you have to catch every time, and will help later if you breed. Why would you bother leveling it anyway give that little shit a smoke ball
