People complain about gen 5 starters and don't care about

Meganium is the only PU starter
Typhlosion and Feraligatr are OK tho
They are my least favorite set of starters

i'd rather have both Meganium and Samurott

Oshawott is cute. That shit has grown on me and Dewott's prototype coloring was one of the best designed second stage pokemon.

But that being said playing through the beginning of black sucks. The starters suck usage wise and the pokemon you get access to are terrible at least before the 3rd gym. I tried to restart black 2 weeks ago and it's so unfun I haven't gotten past pinwheel forest.

Feraligatr is fine as it is. DD+sheer force is insane plus it gets waterfall and aqua jet and ice punch for coverage. give it a mega and it would be ou/ubers material

Typhlosion needs earth power definitely. Maybe give it drought as an ability as well? Not sure what else it definitely needs fixing

Meganium.....maybe if it gets a dragon typing it can make better use of dragon tail? Honestly I have no idea how to help it other then giving it fairy/dragon moves and typings.

Starters are shit. All of them.
They all start promising, leave you confused or uninterested in the midstage and completely disappoint you with the final stage. Either they are ugly furries or they just take away every single appeal the first stage had. Not to mention that most of them suck dick in competitive unless they become Jobbers like Grenigger. Of all the things, they leave in starters. Would've been the perfect opportunity to get rid of them together with HMs.

Grass by it's self is a bad type and bellossom is a very slow pokemon.

The other two at least have a niche use and are actually good at what they do. Emboar is outclassed by both Blaziken and Infernape and Samurotts stat distribution is all over the place to the point there isn't a real role he can fill that the other water starters can't do better. Plus Feraligatr has access to DD, sheer force and a pretty wide movepool to abuse it with.
