You wouldn't start shaking like a leaf at the sheer awe of seeing an ultra-powerful being(legendaries), an ancient predator brought back to the modern era (Aerodactyl), supernatural beings(All Ghost types in that list), the largest Pokemon known to man (Wailmer/Wailord) a giant fucking bee (Vespiquen), or cold and calculating creatures looking for the best way to cut you down (Dark types)?

It's alright for PP stalling, but most legendaries can't make efficient use of it. I think it's just so they're harder to catch.

GameFreak knows what Pokemon deserve the best treatment.

I like it thematically. The legendary Pokemon are so daunting to your guys that they get super nervous and have to work twice as hard to do the same thing.

It's garbage besides that though.

I kind of agree with >>31035367. The nature of pressure implies you're in the presence of something so grand and powerful you lose your nerves.

But so many psychic types?

C'mon, Lugia is the gaurdian of the seas, let him be water flying, maybe Deoxy should change type depending on form (steel for defense, fighting for attack, flying for speed?).

You can go anywhere in our universe and you're still going to fucking find hydrogen and other such base elements everywhere, they might have combined in some interesting or weird ways, but at the atomic level, it's all made of the same cosmic dust.

speed when it uses status
Speed tiers determined after it changes forms ala the new mega mechanics, it'll always use attacks speed when attacking, speeds speed when using spikes or taunt.

Pressure is actually really good for fighting other legends in ubers though. A lot of powerful moves like Extreme Speed and Water Spout have low PP and Pressure runs them out fast. Makes prediction easier if you know your enemy ran out of their water STAB because you kept switching in Palkia to quadruple resist that dumb Kyogre's Water Spout. Seriously, Pressure isn't a bad ability, just needs the right situation to work

If you have good counters to Mega Gengar and Yveltal (and you should) you can safely use Pressure Lugia. It's surprisingly effective.
