I highly doubt anyone knew what Nihilego's type was going to be. Something that looks like a jellyfish, you would think would be some kind of Water type, but is instead weak to Water and is a Rock / Poison type.

Jury's out on Celesteela and Kartana, I feel like Grass would be a reasonable guess for Celesteela (like maybe Grass / Flying or something) considering the bamboo arms. And while Guzzlord is obviously a Dark type, there doesn't seem to be anything too draconic about it.

Its typing is already built into the two easiest cores to build around anon.

Garchomp/Megamence are popular dragon options. Tapus/Mimikyu/Clefable are flexible fairy choices. This is the stronger core at the moment (FWG is limited by fewer Fire options until bank comes around or HA Incineroar).

For a FWG core, Toxapex is a good option for water (a mon that can use Toxic is a good win-condition against the tree's numerous otherwise unwinnable scenarios), but bulky waters are numerous and there are many good options (Gyarados, Milotic, Vaporeon/Alomomola, etc). Fire has mons like Arcanine, Alolan Marowak, and when bank is out, mega Zard/Blaziken/Rotom, etc.
