ITT we post our ideas for battle facilities

I'll start. I would create a facility that teaches new players how to overcome different kinds of tactics. It wouldn't be too hard to veterans but it would still be fun.

Before each battle, you see the NPC team, including their moves, along with a description given by the NPC.

>ex: NPC has a galvantula with sticky web, a pokemon with icy wind, intimidate, etc., with the description "I like to use moves that power down opposing Pokemon!"

You're given a list of about 10 pokemon to choose from. Some of them won't be helpful at all, some will hinder you, and some will be tailored to specifically overcome the NPC strategy. In the above example, you would be able to select pokemon with the Defiant, Competitive, or Clear Body ability, among others.

Youd be battling against numerous strategies like weather teams, baton passing teams, etc.

Battle Club

Works like this:
Any Pokémon allowed except legendarys

Battles change based off of songs like in a club

If dubstep is played, the use of sound based attacks and physical moves get boosted

If house is played, physical damage is halved

If DnB is played, speed is boosted but defenses fall for both sides

If rock is played, defenses are boosted, and so is attack, but speed is halved

Battle Dungeon/Ruins/Den whatever.
>You can play online with a 2-3 others (You can also go by yourself) and go through a Mystery Dungeon-esque dungeon, and you encounter trainers of the Ruin Maniac class and wild Pokemon. There are traps which send you to lower floors, start an encounter with wild Pokemon, inflict status conditions, etc. The amount and severity of these traps, along with the strength of the trainers you battle can be adjusted by using difficulty settings, you can encounter Ancient Pokemon on the lower floors, (which are essentially renamed Totem Pokemon with Purple aura) which have become stronger due to living near the gems on the lower floors, which radiate aura that makes them stronger, this wouldn't work for ordinary Pokemon, since these Pokemon have evolved (in the darwinian sense, not actual evolution) in order to harness the aura. The Aura renders any kind of Pokeball useless. Once you reach the bottom floor, you fight a Fully evolved EV trained (The amount od EVs it has is determined by the difficulty setting) Ancient Pokemon, once you beat it you get a random rare item and get teleported out of the Dungeon, and depending on your difficulty setting you get a Wooden, Bronze, Silver, gold, or Platinum medal.

This would be annoying for getting the right Nature, IVs, etc, but the difficult would reflect that

Champion Hall / Champion Gym - but with all the Elite Four from all regions and all champions. Difficulty increased, mechanics actually used, levels set to 50, no hyper potions and shit, just held items only. This replaces Elite Four/Gyms

So the Pokemon Academy from Pokemon Stadium 2?

I'd love it if we could get a console release Battle Sim ala Pokemon Stadium where it has multiple types of battles, mini games, an extensive list of rental Pokemon, ect.

Shit if they wanted to, they could make a continued story mode from Colloseum and XD and have all of the cool features from the first couple of Stadium games.

I'm not asking for too much, r-right?

Piggybacking off of anon's Battle Dungeon idea, here's mine: A roguelike dungeon crawler facility.

>You're given three random pokemon; each mon has two attacks, a support move, and a status move; also they're always neutral natured and have no EVs/IVs
>battles are locked to triple but you can encounter anywhere between 1 and 3 pokemon at a time
>3 stage mons evolve at 15, then again at 30; 2 stagers evolve at 20 (unless they require a stone to evolve, in which case you can find their stone randomly in a dungeon)
>you go through random dungeons and fight wild mons, battle NPC trainers, and look for treasure
>trainers reward you with BP
>some tiles will activate a weather/terrain/room effect that lasts in every battle until the next floor or you step on a Cloud 9 tile
>traps will disable a random move or lower stats for the next battle
>every fourth floor is a boss battle; you'll either fight a Totem pokemon or a powerful trainer

>at the end of every dungeon you enter a town
>towns contain shops, move tutors, pokemon traders, a gym, and a bank
>you can deposit BP and items at the bank to keep for the normal game
>items cost undeposited BP; treasure you got from dungeons has no purpose other than to be sold for BP
>move tutors will teach you one free move for every dungeon you beat; tutor picks a random move from the selected mon's learnset or a random support/status move; If you choose "no" then you get nothing at all
>traders do exactly what you think
>gyms sell "Workout Routines" to raise your team's EVs/IVs
>items get more expensive with every dungeon you beat, but tutors & traders will offer better moves & pokemon, and you'll be able to sell treasure for higher prices

You can make your own Pokemon team of 6 from any Pokemon you have registered, not just seen, in the Pokedex. Set its moves, stats, abilities, gender, nature ect. The AI in the regular rounds would also work off your Pokedex but would include ones that are only seen while the Super rounds would draw Pokemon from all over even if you haven't seen them.

Battle Theater

This facility would have "Contest Battles". As in the things we always see in the anime but never do in game. Not only do you look to win the battle but you also look to show off well in each category. It would probably be stacked more towards the categories then on winning the battle to avoid not needing to worry about the "contest" part.
