I feel the same way. Toucannon is one of my absolute favorite new Pokemon, but now we'll never have our steel/flying woodpecker with a drill for a beak. It seemed so obvious, too, but GF has a habit of doing things in their own unique, weird way.

I honestly can't think of another evolutionary line ruiner, though.

Don't get me wrong, I love Incineroar, but I wish it was a little bit more feline in it's movements. Or that Torracat foreshadowed the design a little more than it did. I mean there's the bell, the strong arms, and the fact it goes onto it's hind legs when it attacks, but these are subtle details.

Incineroar is ridiculously anthropomorphic compared to how Torracat was nothing but a beefed up cat. I feel that it being a Dark type heel wrestler ellipses my judgement of the design as it's a quite a unique idea compared say redundant trash like Emboar.

I love incineroar, the heel wrestler theme is fun and cool, but i would love if incineroar had a more like buffed werewolf type of body, kinda like that incineroar 2.0 but standing on 2 legs and with more beefy arms

Problem is, a toucan beak makes no sense for shooting projectiles, as it curves down at the end. Trumbeak's beak is perfect for this, and it's already easy to imagine a woodpecker rapidly firing seeds. I dunno, really feels like the design went off from the mechanical concept.

Beak blast is really dope, but the beak shape just doesn't make sense. Imagine how far you'd have to open your mouth to get that downward curve outta the way. The the upper beak of a toucan is attached to the skull, it can't just lift up, it has to actually look up
