Even move tutors can't help them, if you go by previous move tutor. Day dog already looks fucked over just for being a quadrupedal since the only good tutor it might learn is Superpower. At least night dog might learn knock off, low kick, and iron head or even the punch moves.

Ok because I've seen people trying to use it defensively like full HP investments and it never works. Ghost/Psychic is a type that can be used in any way, but defensively. Shadow Shield is there just to ensure that Lunala can live a few hits. If you're not using Scarf, Specs or Lefties just for some extra recovery aside from Roost to get Shadow Shield back up, then you're using Lunala wrong.
