I'd say take Pex, Kek, and Scizor based on typing alone. They'd grant you a good amount of resists with few weaknesses.

I have no idea how the tree works though so thats the best I can offer

need a pokemon that's super effective against fire, it could totally wipe you out since you have a bug/steel type and a primary steel type. either that or make sure at least two pokes have water/ground/rock moves but NOT scizor or celesteela

for battle tree, i'd say marowak, toxapex, and tapu koko

I had an issue with physical attackers, my Pokes are quite frail on that side.
And as I found out after I got to the battle tree, most of them had terribad IVs.

Easily my weakest in-game team since BW. Listed in order of acquiring. I went with my favorites, and unfortunately for me, my favorites included virtually no physical damage. Further complicating matters, my brother and I were attempting not to have similar teams. I got to Poni, realized I needed a decent water pokemon, so I went with Greninja.

As far as team rating goes, I was hoping for some advice for battle tree.
Specifically should I use iron head garchomp over stone edge for accuracy?
For a three Pokémon team I'm thinking of using chomp, togekiss, and toxapex, possibly switching out togekiss for aegislash and/or garchomp for salemence depending on what Pokémon work best

I'm about to fight the elite 4, here's my team.

The Sandslash/Mimikyu combo has been really working well for me. Sandslash can just set up on just about anything physical and keep himself alive through swords dance boosted leech life till he runs into a fighting pokemon, then I switch in mimikyu who can set up all the way on the poor fucker who can't hit me and continue the sweep.

The rest of my pokemon are there for moral support mostly.

I can confirm pelipper is a beast, he's got the strongest water attacks in the game because of drizzle and electric can be easily abused to get a free switch for a ground type
