I've been using a gigalith with sand stream and assault vest. Aside the fact he can tank the shit out of damn near anything (except solar blade FFFFUUU) what buffs? Sand stream?

Still, I have to admit that by and large I'm actually pretty happy with the buffs and nerfs that Gen VII brought.

Sand Stream is a pretty big buff itself. Especially as Gigalith has a pretty decent SpDef to start with that it boosts. I used one in game and it took hits on both sides of the spectrum it had no business shrugging off like it did.

One of my favourites. I'm glad it FINALLY got SD but sadly was only buffed by 10 bst while Masquerain by 40(really happy about that too) and also got a cool signature move but it's still not enough.

They probably gave it a lot of buffs this gen because spinarak is based on a spider only found in Hawaii.
Plus it fit with Guzma's theme. A spider with a false head and the leader of Team Skull.
That or somebody at gamefreak just likes it.
