>In the Pokémon anime, there will often come up a Pokémon that knows a move it cannot learn legitimately in any of the games.
>It is unknown whether these instances are actual mistakes, a writing policy of not having to stick to the games too closely, or merely the Pokémon using an attribute that shares the name of a move in the games.
ITT: Make one of the errors come true in the games, whether it makes things more interesting or simply makes sense.
Honestly, Pidgey needs to learn Peck.

There's just some moves that should be Universal-- Like Dig. You just scrape at the fucking ground.

>Pidgey used Dig

It has clawed feet. Why wouldn't it be able to?
How does Diglett dig? We know it's just a dildo.
i remember in the first season they got rock and ground types consistently mixed up. kabutops was immune to thundershock, but pikachu took down a marowak in one zap. i guess the writers had a faulty type chart or something...

The move you're thinking of is sandattack. Dig isn't usually something a Ghastly or Drifloon could do.
>tail slap does damage

But it does damage in game too anon
