Because the previous thread was p good:

- Make at least one Pokémon line for your favourite type.
- Either one new ability, one new move, or neither.
- Keep BSTs within acceptable limits (no UB-tier BST, no Mega tier BST for non Megas)
- Try not to use OP abilities like Huge Power on a Slaking-sized BST.
- Be sure to rate others, try to give out good advice.

Here's mine:
>Type
Dark/Flying
>Role
A Pokémon with low defenses based around making the opposition be wary of using damaging moves on it due to a combination of the Pokémon’s typing, ability, and moveset.
>Concept
Based on the Spur-Winged Goose, along with a Judo theme, as Judo has moves based around using the opponent’s attacks against them.
>Abilities
Poison Point, Rough Skin, Aftermath (HA)
>stat spread
150/71/93/63/86/52 (515 BST)
>moves
Most beneficial moves in its moveset would be Spiky Shield, Baneful Bunker, Roost, Sucker Punch, Pain Split, Disable, Destiny Bond, Payback, Foul Play, Torment, Memento, Pursuit, Taunt, Counter, and Mirror Coat.

Fire/Dragon

A strong one stage pokemon like dhelmise, best stat is special attack

Venom Glands - Basically a poison version of Steelworker, so stab poison attacks

80/60/90/120/85/105 (540 bst)

Based on a red spitting kobra which spit their poison hence it being a special attacker, but pokemonized. Pretty boring i know

New base 80 fire attack where it spits at the target, and instead of causing a burn it has a 30% chance to poison

Flamethrower, dragon pulse, sludge bomb, toxic, moves like that. Not much variety in useful moves to make it more balanced

I could see it being a high uu or BL mon, useful as a scarfer or with a life orb

Previous threadstarter here. I'll repost mine because I only got 1 response/critique from the previous thread

>Type
Fighting
>Role
A defensive mon that relies on utility/support moves to bring some variety in monofighting type teams instead of the usual slow bulky tank or speedy mixed sweeper roles.
>Concept
mixture of Kabuki theatrics, oni and warrior
>Abilities
Guts, Intimidate, Provoke (HA)
Guts appears to be standard for bruiser fighting types, Intimidate due to Kabuki mask/make up, Provoke is auto-taunt ability, also due to Kabuki mask
>stat spread
HP: 105
Atk: 120
Def: 100
Sp. Atk: 45
Sp. Def: 100
Spe: 35
BST: 505
the slow speed references the slow (start) of Kabuki theatre, and so it could be of use with Trick Room, and to balance out its good bulk and good attack
>moves
nothing unique but definitely has Sucker Punch to make use of the Auto-taunt ability and to avoid overlap with priority of other fighting types (Bullet/Nach punch), Close Combat, Trick Room (again to reference the theatre movements), Healing Pulse, Helping Hand, Follow Me, Me First, Fake Out

three stage line that evolves by trading

>>30893967
very interesting concept, and takes the type of Murkrow and Mandibuzz but with a different role. Very good use of the animal's anatomy and translation to abilities. My only concern is that with all these options of crippling foes, I think its offenses could be reduced by just a little bit (-5-10 on one or split offenses).

>>30894189
>A strong one stage pokemon like dhelmise
See, this part is okay.
>(540 bst)
This is not. Dhelmise has 517 BST, with Grass as a detrimental type defensively. You have an excellent typing and fast speed on top of a very good BST. You have no ground priority and you can outspeed most fast ground type users. You do not fear Ice Shard, nor Aqua Jet to a debilitating degree. Only Accelrock + SR on the switch threatens you. Arcanine and Volcarona have comparable BSTs but they have less favorable typings.
>>
>>30893967

>it's dark/flying

Imagine this bird evolving into a secretary

>type
Electric/Flying
>role
Eh, it's supposed to be an early bird that nobody uses, but it could be used as a glass cannon in NU or PU, i gues.
>concept
Kiskadees are called "Bem-te-vi" ("See ya well"/"Saw ya well") in Brazilian Portuguese, so it starts out as a kiskadee with huge eyes and feathers that look like glasses, then it becomes bigger, cooler and more realistic-looking with more markings, and then it becomes a secretary bird (birds of prey are known to have good vision, and a raptor that's not an eagle, a hawk, or a falcon would be a cool twist)
>abilities
Keen Eye, something that boosts kicks or gives STAB to Fighting moves, Speed Boost i guess (HA)
>stat spread
35/55/30/40/25/90
50/70/45/55/35/110
60/95/55/70/45/140
>moves
Outside of the mandatory bird and electric moves (Peck, Brave Bird, Thunderbolt, Wild Charge, Fly, etc), i can see it getting all kick moves, Sucker Punch, Close Combat, Foresight, Glare, Mean Look, Brick Break, Flare Blitz, Swords Dance, Agility, and some others
>>
>>30894311
interesting concept but needs to be developed more

>>30894528
abilities and stats check out thematically and competitively. I like how you avoided it to be speedy or have priority, because this type combination is impeccable and would be scary if it had Garchomp-tier stats

>>30894588
pretty decent, not much to say as it's fairly straightforward. good job not giving this priority--its speed and sp attack are pretty good balanced out by subpar defenses

>>30894772
>Fairy/Flying pseudo
as a fighting fag this is a nightmare especially with that speed and offenses. Dazzling on this is incredibly broken. One of few things that keep Garchomp in check is Ice Shard. Dazzling on this prevents Ice Shard, Accelrock AND Bullet Punch. Only incredibly bulky Steel, Rock, Poison moves and fellow fairy types can probably hope to defeat this as it seems to be difficult to take out without STAB

>>30894790
Looks really good on paper. The low speed stat looks like it's balanced, but then again with that bulk and fantastic defensive typing (only Ground and Fire moves hit SE?) it might be to difficult to take down. Mega Mawile, after all is Ubers, though it's not exactly a perfect fit for comparison.

>>30895135
>Too stronk?
Hard to say. It has less Sp Atk than Gengar but that typing combination is nothing to scoff at either.

>>30895516
>Basically Long Reach and Parental Bond together, but only affects slash type moves and don't have that 25% reduction
it doesn't matter if it only affects slash types moves if moves of that kind are all it's going to use anyway. At this point, I realize any pseudo that's part-Fairy is scarier to face than a part-Dragon pseudo

With this speed and access to STAB fighting moves, its only threats are Ice Shard users, who are also unable to switch in because of their fighting weakness and usually slow speed.

Oh, cool, an ice type with speed that isn't retardedly slow. It's supposed to be a late game fight, like the kind of thing you'll encounter in Victory Road or some other dungeon near the end of the main story. It does a lot of damage, sure, but if you outpseed it you'll probably kill it in one or two hits.

Signature move- Fimbulvetr
Ice, Special, 60 Base Power. If the foes is afflicted with Paralysis, Fimbulvetr removes the paralysis and freezes them instead.

Notable moves it learns by level up in no particular order:
Thunder, Blizzard, Thunder Fang, Ice fang, Coil, Sheer Cold, Iron Defense, Thunder Wave, Glare, Fimbulvetr, Ice shard, probably a few weaker moves for when it's low level.

Notable TM Moves: Ice Beam, Thunderbolt, Dragon Tail, Earthquake, Iron Tail, all those dumb moves like Toxic or whatever that nearly everyone learns

Egg Moves: No idea how it would get these, but you can breed it to learn:
Hurricane
Iron Tail
Haze
Wring Out
Megahorn

>Moves
Standard ghost support moves such as Confuse Ray, Destiny Bond, Pain Split, Disable, ect. Learns Recover by level up. Most physical attacking moves are moves effected by "Iron Fist." Most special attacking moves are standard normal- and ghost-type fare, such as Thunderbolt, Shadow Ball, and Psychic.

>Abilities
Feather Shield, Big Pecks (HA)
Feather Shield - Only activates once per time sent out. When hit by an attack, it lowers the user's defense and special defense by two levels and raises its speed by one level. The idea being that it throws excess feathers at the opponent to block an attack-- in the process making it lose its defenses.

I already posted this yesterday so why not again here.

They're all Water/Ghost.

Tadpone, Stongwell and Omniblood all have the same ability.

Cotton Absortion: Immunity to water, defense is raised every time the user's it by a water move.

Grimkup has a similar but different ability:

Fluid Control: Reflects water moves.

Too lazy to makes stats for pre-evos.

Omniblood: 110 / 65 / 78 / 110 / 115 / 53

Grimkup: 50 / 110 / 60 / 135 / 60 / 116

Their movepool mostly consists on water, ghost and poison type attacks. They could have an exclusive move based on blood or somethin but idk

This one >>30898074 is a lot more balanced than >>30894772 though
>>
>Type
Ghost/dark

>Role
Utility/wall

>Concept
A jack in the box with a clown theme

>ability
Magic box
Magic guard except it also works on self-inflicted damage meaning it can use curse for no cost

>Stat spread
40 hp, 60 attack, 80 defense, 50 special attack, 90 special defense, 120 speed

>moves
All the usual ghost utility moves like trick and will-o-wisp. Curse, obviously. Only recovery move is pain split. Also gets things like foul play/sucker punch for damage along with shadow ball/claw

the physical description reminds me of this sadly fake leak from gen vi.
>>
set of final stage starters

Grass/Ground bison
110/100/105/65/90/60
has either Grass Pelt or a new ability that halves ice damage

Fire/Flying owl (i know we just had an owl, but this one would be more elegant than edgy)
75/85/75/110/80/105
has Dazzling as a hidden

Water/Rock crab
70/100/100/85/90/85
has Water Bubble or Rough Skin as a hidden

Redundant. Also needs to be fleshed out more. Seems broken as it is
>>
-Fighting/Dark
-Two stage mon
-Based on Cassowary- kicking, headbutting, and claw attacks
-Abilities: Rock Head / Kickboxer (Boosts kicking moves by 50%, base 195 HJK) HA: Tough Claws
82/128/73/67/60/100
Learned Moves: High Jump Kick, Dragon Claw, Night Slash, Head Smash, Iron Head, Pursuit, Blaze Kick
Insanely powerful offensively with a STAB 195 BP HJK and access to Blaze Kick and Iron Head for Fairies, but the 4x weakness to fairies possibly balances it.

Akhlorcut [Akhlut + Orca + Cut]
Snow Stalker Pokemon
Ice/Dark
Ability: Swift Swim/Slush Rush
Hidden Ability: Strong Jaw
HP: 102
Atk: 122
Def: 79
SpA: 92
SpD: 59
Spe: 86
BST: 540
Egg Group: Water 1/Monster

Evolves from Akhlorpup (basic stage) at night at level 47

Dex 1: known as the shadow on the ice, this pokemon is a deadly ambush predator. It moves swifty across ice or in water, using its powerful jaws to lunge at unsuspecting prey, dragging them into the freezing ocean.

Dex 2: Its jaws can tear through solid ice floes. There have been reports of this pokemon simply biting through icebergs in pursuit of it's prey. They are notoriously difficult to tame.

Notable moves: Shadow Sneak, Sucker Punch, Dark Pulse, Thunder/Fire/Ice Fang, Body Slam, Ice Shard, Crunch, Surf, Sludge Wave, Recover, Water Spout.

An attempt at an actually good Ice type. It would be pretty late game hence its high BST and it is a slightly spongey mixed attacker with versatility on weather teams.

Maybe a bit too good in terms of coverage but Ice types are usually screwed over in that regard. I wanted it to be Ice/Dark rather than Water/Dark before anyone tries to 'improve it' because Ice types need better mons.

Interesting idea with nature specific moves. Seems like too much work for something Gamefreak would actually do these days.

>type
Ghost/fairy or ghost/normal

Speedy special attacker
>concept
Flatwoods monster. Gothitelle and decidueye kinda but we deserve a better representation.
>ability
Piercing Gaze

Basically buffed intimidate, lowers attack by one stage for all pokemon that appear, not just the first pokemon it encounters.
>stats
90/65/52/110/52/120

The 52 defenses refer to the original sighting occuring in 1952. Best I could think to refrence it without being broken.
>moves
Typical things like shadow ball, shadow sneak, dazzling gleam, scary face.

Would be pretty cool to get a clearer representation of this cryptid, your one is nice anon. Decent ability and not broken stats too.

Rock/Grass

Stegoach.(Stegosaurus+Stagecoach. The Velociraptor's name was supposed to be Marauptor, Marauder+ Raptor)

Based on the stagecoach and merchant convoys. Females have a rougher Cowboy hat while Males have a smoother Bowler hat on its head in the form of plates.

Physical tank/Wall

Intimidate/ Physical version of Solar Power/Rough Skin

120/111/105/40/105/40

A unique physical move called Thorn Pellets. The mon blasts pellets of thorns against all enemies like a shotgun. BP ranges from 50-100 with intervals of 5 BP.

Synthesis, Protect, Horn Leech (because fuck you that's why.), Stealth Rock, Dragon Tail, Rollout, Stone Edge, Heavy Slam.

Doesn't learn Safeguard or Heal Bell, though

>>30907161
I used to have a grass starter based on this with the same typing. No accelrock?
>>
>>30907250
It's a tank.

It's meant to be slow as fuck.

Ah shit I forgot, also it Dual Screens and can learn Aqua Tail and Iron Tail.

Either Fairy/Dark or Flying/Fighting, whichever better conveys the "cute tiny songbird with predatory vicious impalement habit."

Speedy but frail physical attacker
> 90/120/60/45/65/124
