Don't get me wrong, I like the idea of UBs. But the way they were handled, at least for me, really ruined the whole idea. Maybe it's just my autism speaking, but the fact that the UBs have almost nothing to do with the story really bogs down the idea for me.

It was pretty poor how they appeared during story and then laid low until you were ready to beat the league without mention from Hala or anybody.

Honestly, I wish Gamefreak hadn't revealed the Ultra Beasts prior to release and just kept them secret.
Even when datamining would have inevitably revealed them, it would've at least been mindblowing seeing all those fucked up designs, or at least better than GF hyping them up to "wow it's fucking nothing".
