Just like how they took Gengar's Levitate and gave it Cursed Body, they should take Garchomp's regular ability and replace it with Wimp Out and the HA with Emergency Exit.

No. Garchomp is good, but not unbalanced in the slightest. It's not like you have to go out of your way to put a dedicated Garchomp counter on your team or anything. He's easy enough to outplay using regular mons. There's nothing particularly broken or overcentralizing about him to warrant a nerf.

I'd assume what happened was what I was doing - shipping off breedjects.
I was trying to be nice and give gibles to those who may not have them (since Gabite is a pain in the ass and most of mine were Rough Skin anyways), but apparently I wasn't the only one doing that.

Here's mine:
Pheromosa (Naive) @ Focus Sash/Expert Belt
252 ATK, 252 SPEED, 4 SPATK
U-turn/High Jump Kick/Ice Beam/Poison Jab
Feel free to switch out Poison Jab for Rapid Spin or whatever move you feel best fits the structure of the team you are using it in

This doesn't apply to garchomp specifically (can't remember if it gets Extreme Speed in any game before S&M) If you can't reasonably know when to just switch out the pheromosa outright to avoid getting oneshot by priority or to save a sash for a better situation half of the time or more often, you might have more problems than not knowing how to deal with a garchomp

I was in a Battle Royale earlier, the initial send-outs were as follows:

>Anon sent out Garchomp!
>Random 2 sent out Garchomp!
>Random 3 sent out Bewear!

Garchomp is good, but not overwhelming.
Its just like DD+Outrage Salamence from Gen4 post Garchomp Ban - powerful and can clean house when setup, but not without some checks who can answer it.

I'm going to miss Pheromosa if she's banned.

Garchomp hasn't even been a major issue ever since Gen 4, sure it's still good but it's no longer the monster it used to be that led to its original ban.

It's easy to counter. For example, a specs, protean Greninja could take it out in one STAB Ice Beam, may it be singles or doubles.

Personally, I don't have much problems facing off with opponents that uses based Landshark.
