I just started my first Nuzlocke run. I decided to do it in Heart Gold.
I've lost my Spearow and Rattata so far to critical hits, but honestly this doesn't feel as challenging as I expected. I just beat the second gym with relative ease using only 3 pokemon.
What's the deal? Am I doing something wrong?

Yeah, I've been thinking about that. Kind of dreading what will happen. I feel like between my Geodude and Bellsprout I should be alright though. Bellsprout can keep it asleep so it won't stack up it's Rollout, and Geodude can take the hits.

I have a whole team, but I only needed to use 3 of them on Bugsy. Really only needed to use 2, but I decided to give Bellsprout some action against his Metapod.

Takes a turn to use doesn't it? Or rather, it uses it after it's turn is over. I'll just use sleep powder again. Bellsprout has a Naive nature so I think it will be able to outspeed.
