Were all gens this shit? I haven't played since HGSS but I don't see appeal of this online mode with so many options out there. Seems like the only reason to bother would be literal autism or if you also cheat and enjoy playing legendaries. Oh wait, guardian deities and ultra beasts, my bad.

The tapu's annoy me less because they're legendary and more because they have abilities that basically mean every team I fight will have at least one of them. I don't mind the UB's at all. I doubt they're doing it any time soon, but 6v6 instead of pushing that 3v3 and doubles crap would make it actually seem worth going online in the actual game
