The second time you fight against Hau, Hala heals your team even when you have a lot of Potions, and Ilima heals your team before battling the Verdant Cavern's totem (this is not bad but outside the Verdant Cavern there is a Pokémon Center, making it redundant)

This sounds like an improvement to me, I remember grinding the E4 in FRLG and getting kind of bored of having to go through the credits after a while. A nice compromise would be for the credits to be unlocked when beating the game and watchable whenever or perhaps an option to toggle them on or off.

I probably didn't know that was an option at the time or may have been superstitious about it. Maybe it's just me, but I think if you don't give a damn about resetting for the nature of an event Pokemon or something along those lines than you might not know or not remember that soft resetting is an option.

One of the many flaws of "cinematic story". The ending and credits roll was heavily tied to the story and viewing it again after waifubait fucked off to kanto would have seemed strange and possibly even lazy.

Its all downhill from here guys, can't wait to see how they fuck up games after this one.
