I remember back in Gen 4, my friends and I would hack in ridiculous Pokemon to face each other with. Genning is always going to be a thing, and some people get enjoyment out of it.

So long as you aren't stupid and inject blatantly illegal/impossible pokemon, honestly who cares. I breed my pokemon because I enjoy it, but I also use injected mons, either for breeding or just to have them because they're shiny and satisfy my balltism.
