I got a new computer and I would like to run citra to play SM but all the tutorials I have seen uses different builds for it and I'm not sure which one to follow. How did you guys got that thing running?

Whatever pc you just got you won't be able to run it.
I'm OCing at 4.4 and it runs like shit.
Just give them another 6months or so and it'll run great on a toaster.
But if you still feel like trying you generally get a bleeding edge build from their site.
Just get the last one, if you run into a black screen or something just download the one before that and see if it fixes it.
If not just try one a couple versions before that etc.
You also need to get a couple files from your 3ds, there are tutos around (Did it a week ago and don't remember shit) but you can also grab a 'user' folder from around the net, easier that way.

I got the latest bleeding edge build and it ran like shit.
Then I tried the build that was bundled with the Moon rom I downoaded here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0BzbK75Bq4z2pZFJqVXNxenNsQUE
and it ran way better.
So no, bleeding edge isn't always the way to go.

Try the build in the link above, it's the fastest build I've found so far.

'way better' is still shit tho, right?
35 fps is way better than 30.
