For six gens, abra has been a semi rare pokemon which everyone remembers wasting poke balls to get. The premier psychic type for most of gen 1, it was only second to mewtwo. Now it's just WT trash. Hatch, trade, release
Truly, abra has suffered most from this tragedy

Abra was never really rare, it's always just been a slight nuisance to catch when you're first going through the game. Powercreep and the nerfing of Psychic-type are what really hurt Alakzam.
